Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using UrbanSetu, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Service

UrbanSetu is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service professionals. We are not the employer of the pros. We provide booking, payment, and dispute resolution services.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices include GST. Convenience fee: ₹20 (waived for Pro subscribers).
• Instant Help has a ₹150 surge fee.
• Payment methods: UPI, card, netbanking, wallet, COD (for products only).
• Refunds processed within 5-7 business days per cancellation policy.

4. Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 2 hours before service. Late cancellation: ₹50 fee. No-show: 50% of booking value.

5. Pro verification

All pros are Aadhaar + GST + skill-test verified. We conduct background checks via 1Check API. However, UrbanSetu is not liable for any damage caused by pros — pros carry their own insurance.

6. Limitation of liability

UrbanSetu's total liability is limited to the booking value or ₹10,000, whichever is less.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
